How we reviewed Smash
As an online dating expert, I took the process of reviewing Smash very seriously. To begin with, my team and I tested both free and paid versions of the app to get a better understanding of its features. We then spent days sending messages to other users on Smash – in total we sent over 500 messages! This gave us insight into how responsive people were when it came to responding back. We also looked at what kind of profiles are available on this platform by searching for different types – from age ranges all the way up to hobbies or interests that people have listed in their bios – giving us a good overview as far as who is using this service goes. Finally, we made sure our review was comprehensive by taking screenshots along every step so readers can see exactly what they’re getting themselves into before signing up for any type of subscription plan offered through Smash Dating App itself (if applicable). At OnlineDatingExpertReviews we pride ourselves on providing honest reviews that go beyond just skimming through apps quickly; instead, taking time out each day during our testing period allows us give you detailed feedback about your experience while using these services which sets us apart from other review sites out there!
Design & Usability
When it comes to dating apps, Smash isn’t exactly a knockout. It has some decent features but its design and usability leave much to be desired.
The first thing you’ll notice about the app is that its color scheme is pretty drab; grey and white with a hint of pink here or there – not very exciting! The overall layout looks like something from the early 2000s, which doesn’t do much for user engagement or enjoyment. As far as navigation goes, it’s okay at best – users can easily find their way around but nothing stands out in terms of design elements that make using this app enjoyable.
Speaking of usability…it could use some work too! There are plenty of options available on Smash when it comes to finding potential matches (which is great!) But they’re all kind of crammed together so scrolling through them feels overwhelming and confusing at times. Plus, if you want access to more features such as messaging other users without having your messages seen by everyone else then you have no choice but upgrade your subscription – talk about adding insult injury!
Overall I wouldn’t recommend downloading this one unless absolutely necessary because even though there are certain aspects worth mentioning (like being able to search for people based on specific criteria) these positives don’t outweigh how outdated everything looks & feels compared with other modern dating apps out there today. In short: You get what you pay for…and sometimes less than that when it comes down Smash
Smash features
Smash is a dating app that claims to be the perfect match for singles looking for love. But after taking it out on a few dates, I’m here to tell you – Smash isn’t worth your time or money!
For starters, their free features are pretty limited. You can create an account and browse through profiles of other users but if you want to send messages or even view full-sized photos then you have to pay up. And let me tell ya – those prices ain’t cheap! On top of that, there’s no guarantee that anyone will respond back so why bother spending all this cash? Not exactly my idea of romance…
The paid version does offer some cool perks like seeing who viewed your profile and having access to more advanced search filters which could come in handy when trying find someone special (if they exist). Unfortunately though, these benefits don’t make up for the lacklustre selection available on Smash – most people seem too busy swiping left than actually engaging with each other meaning it’s hard enough finding matches without any extra help from fancy algorithms… sigh!
Speaking about algorithms: one thing I did notice was how quickly my profile got buried under everyone else’s as soon as I signed up – not sure what kind of algorithm they’re using over at Smash HQ but clearly something needs tweaking because nobody likes feeling invisible online (especially when paying good money!). Also seems like many members haven’t been active in months so again another waste of precious resources… grrrr!!
And lastly – unique features?? Well apart from being able ‘smash’ into somebody else’s inbox by sending them an icebreaker message; nope nothing really stands out 🤷🏻♀️. All things considered, unless major improvements are made soon then unfortunately Smashing won’t be getting much action anytime soon….
- Location-based matching
- Mutual friend connections
- Verified profile pictures
- In-app messaging
- Anonymous chat rooms
Security & Safety
When it comes to safety and security, Smash is a bit of a letdown. It’s clear that the app isn’t doing enough to ensure its users are safe from bots and fake accounts. There doesn’t seem to be any kind of verification process for new members either, so you never really know who you’re talking with on this platform. Even worse, there’s no two-step authentication option available – something which should definitely be standard in an online dating app these days!
The photos aren’t manually reviewed either; they just get uploaded without anyone taking the time to check if they actually belong to real people or not – yikes! As far as privacy goes… well, I haven’t seen much evidence that Smash takes user data seriously at all. The policy seems pretty vague when it comes down details like how long your info will stay stored after deactivating your account or what third parties might have access etc., so overall I wouldn’t say their approach is particularly reassuring here either… Ugh!
To sum up: If you want an online dating experience where safety and security come first then look elsewhere because Smash ain’t gonna cut it – sorry folks but ya can do better than this one!.
Help & Support
If you’re looking for a dating app with great support, Smash isn’t the one. I’ve tried to contact them several times and have yet to get any response or satisfactory answers. It’s like they don’t even care about their users!
The FAQ page is practically non-existent; it only has two questions on it which are both related to billing issues – not helpful at all if you’re having technical difficulties or need help understanding how the app works. Plus, there doesn’t seem to be any way of contacting customer service directly either by email or phone call so that really limits your options when trying to get in touch with someone who can actually provide assistance.
And forget about getting an answer quickly – expect days (or weeks!) before hearing back from anyone at Smash HQ…if ever! If you do manage somehow make contact then good luck making sense out of what they tell ya since most responses tend towards being vague and unhelpful rather than clear cut solutions for whatever issue might arise while using this online dating platform..yikes!!
All in all, if I had my druthers I’d give ’em zero stars but unfortunately we gotta settle for one star here due mainly because some people may still find value somewhere within its user interface…but hey maybe that’s just me being generous? Bottom line: unless you want your time wasted look elsewhere as far as finding an online dating site/app goes cuz’ trust me when I say this ain’t no walk in the park…
Pricing
When it comes to Smash, you’re going to have to shell out some serious cash if you want the full experience. The app isn’t free – in fact, it’s pretty pricey! You can get a basic subscription for $9.99 per month or go all-out with their premium plan at $19.99 per month – and that doesn’t even include access to certain features like advanced search options and “likes." Yikes! Sure, there are some benefits of getting a paid subscription: unlimited messaging capabilities, additional profile photos… but let’s be honest here; those don’t come close enough making up for such an expensive price tag. And when compared against other dating apps on the market? Not competitive whatsoever – so buyer beware!
Plan | Price | Features |
---|---|---|
Free | $0 | Profile Creation, Matching with other users, Messaging |
Plus | $9.99/month | All Free features, See who likes you, Unlimited Likes |
Premium | $19.99/month | All Plus features, Priority Listing in Matches, Advanced Filtering Options |

Q&A
Absolutely not. It’s a complete waste of time and money, with no real results to show for it. I wouldn’t recommend Smash to anyone looking for love online – there are much better options out there!
Signing up for Smash is as easy as downloading the app and entering your information. You’ll be asked to provide basic personal details, like age and gender, before you can start swiping away. Unfortunately it’s just another dating app that doesn’t really offer anything new or innovative.
Smash doesn’t have nearly as many users as other dating apps, so it’s not the best option if you’re looking for a large pool of potential matches. It definitely has less than its competitors, and I wouldn’t recommend relying on Smash to find your perfect match.
Finding people on Smash is pretty easy, just set up your profile and start swiping. Unfortunately it’s not the most reliable way to find someone since there are a lot of fake profiles out there. I wouldn’t recommend relying solely on this app for finding potential dates.
